State-Wide Concrete Pumping has been proudly serving Columbus and Central Ohio for more than 30 years. The founder of our Company, James C. Kirkwood, came to Columbus, Ohio in 1971 with one small trailer mounted concrete pump, a pick-up and a dream of providing a better way to place concrete from point A to point B. During this time, contractors were using cranes and buckets, wheelbarrows, and buggies. Trying to change the way Central Ohio contractors had been doing things for years was not going to be easy. Using this new method of placing concrete would be more precise, save time, manpower and most importantly, save them money.
